🧾 Ingredients

For the Dough:

  • 2 cups (250g) all-purpose flour (or bread flour for extra chew)

  • ¾ cup (180ml) warm water (not hot)

  • 1 teaspoon instant yeast

  • 1 teaspoon sugar

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

For the Sauce:

  • ½ cup pizza sauce (store-bought or homemade)

  • 1 teaspoon olive oil

  • 1 clove garlic (minced)

  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano

  • ½ teaspoon chili flakes (optional)

Toppings (customizable):

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • ¼ cup grated parmesan

  • Pepperoni / mushrooms / olives / onions / bell peppers

  • Fresh basil (optional)


🥣 Step 1: Prepare the Dough

  1. In a bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast.
    Let it sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy (this means the yeast is active).

  2. Add flour, salt, and olive oil.
    Mix until a rough dough forms.

  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.

  4. Place in a lightly oiled bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1 hour (or until doubled in size).
